The Roosevelt Parent, Teacher, Student Association (PTSA) is dedicated to making every child’s potential a reality. This commitment extends from pre-K to high school students.
Roosevelt PTSA Scholarships:
Since 2016, the Roosevelt PTSA has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors who wish to continue their education beyond high school, whether that’s achieved through a college degree or through technical training and certification. The PTSA intent is to support students who are well-rounded, hard-working and show determination and potential.
Please apply for one of the following scholarships:
$250 College Book Scholarship - Awarded to one graduating student for book supplies.
$500 College Jumpstart Scholarship – Awarded to one graduating student who will attend a technical school or a two-year accredited institution of higher learning in the fall or spring semester of the next school year. GPA 2.5 or higher.
$1,000 Presidential Scholarship – Awarded to one graduating student who will attend a four-year accredited institution of higher learning in the fall or spring semester of the next school year. GPA 3.0 or higher.

Important Dates:
- March 13, 2020 – Deadline. Applications must be received on or before the due date in a sealed envelope.
- Eligible applicants will be contacted for an in-person interview by March 31st,
- Students will be notified and presented with their award during the PTSA meeting in May.

Apply for These Nassau Region PTA Scholarships
The Adrienne Robb-Fund Family Scholarship
Award Amount: $500
Agency: Nassau PTA
Description: The Adrienne Robb-Fund/Fund Family Scholarship is for a student who is graduating from a Nassau County Public high school and who demonstrated resiliency in overcoming obstacles to learning; be it academic, language, social, emotional or due to special needs.
One $500 scholarship shall be awarded annually.
Deadline: Application must be postmarked by March 15 of the student’s graduating year.
