The Roosevelt PTSA is disappointed to learn about an image displayed in Middle School, which contained offensive content.  We are not able to provide any details of the investigation, because it is a personnel matter.  However, we are confident that our Superintendent and Board of Education are working swiftly to investigate the situation and will bring this issue to a satisfactory conclusion.   School officials have informed us that they are taking this situation seriously and support is available for students who have questions.

The District is holding an Emergency Board Meeting on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at 6:30 pm in the Roosevelt High School Auditorium.  Parents, students, and community members are encouraged to attend this special meeting to learn more about the issue and to ask questions.
